offer a fully managed service for the disposal of confidential
waste, whether it is on a regular or occasional basis.
We can advise on the best method for storing the material
within an office or commercial environment and how to
maximise the efficiency of the collection. This sometimes
involves our operators collecting from around a building,
or otherwise from a central point.
Our shredding operational staff are all vetted to BS7858
standard - which is a 10-year history check - so you
can have complete confidence that anyone from CDS handling
your confidential waste is a person of the highest integrity.
Staff are uniformed and identifiable by our own ID badges
as well as the Environment Agency authorisation cards
that we carry. We also pride ourselves on being helpful
& friendly with all staff receiving customer service
training.
We collect material either in bags, bins, containers,
boxes or loose. Our operators will load the material
onto an alarmed vehicle, which is always kept locked.
Our vehicles are plain - so no-one knows what we are
carrying - and fitted with TRACKER, which is the best
vehicle retrieval system available. All operators are
trained in security procedures on an ongoing basis.
The vehicles bring the confidential waste back to the
closest secure facility - where it is unloaded and taken
directly to the shredding compound. The average shredding
time from collection is currently 8 hours. All material
is shredded by a large industrial shredder and then
baled in preparation for recycling into tissue products.
